We only process users' personal data in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations (in particular the GDPR). This means that user data will only be processed if we have legal permission or consent to do so.
Our hosting provider (IONOS SE) collects data about every access to the server (so-called server log files). The access data includes

Amount of data transferred
Notification of successful retrieval
Browser type and version, the user's operating system
Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
IP address and the requesting provider

Our website uses cookies. We use a consent management platform (cookie banner) to obtain and document your consent to the storage of certain cookies (e.g. for analysis or marketing). Revocation: You can revoke or adjust your consent at any time via the settings in the cookie banner.
A central occupationpart of our offer is the interactive ROI calculator, which helps you to calculate efficiency gains through our technology.
When you use the computer, we collectd we process:
Production data: (e.g. tonnage, yield values, operating hours, machine setup)

Usage data: (date of calculation, calculated ROI value)
We process this data for the following purposes:
Delivery of the analysis (fulfillment of contract): The detailed ROI evaluation (PDF) is sent by e-mail at your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (implementation of pre-contractual measures on request).
Telephone consultation & validation („speed-to-lead“): Our team of experts will contact you by phone to discuss the calculated result, validate data and clarify technical questions.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent that you have given by checking the box in the form).
CRM & customer management: Storage of your data for the initiation of a long-term business relationship.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient distribution).
We use specialized service providers for the technical implementation of this service. We have concluded data processing agreements (DPAs) with all providers in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Hosting Frontend (Vercel): The interface of the ROI calculator is provided by Vercel Inc. (USA) is provided. Vercel processes IP addresses for technical delivery. Data security is guaranteed by standard contractual clauses (SCC).
Data interface (Make): To transfer the data from the computer to our CRM, we use Make (Celonis, Inc.). Data is transmitted in encrypted form.
CRM & e-mail dispatch (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector): We use HighLevel Inc. (Dallas, USA) to manage customer contacts and to send e-mails. Your data is stored on servers in the USA. The provider guarantees an appropriate level of data protection through standard contractual clauses (SCC) and technical security measures.
When contacting us (e.g. by contact form, e-mail, telephone or via social media), the user's details are processed to process the contact request and its handling in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
IP anonymization: We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization.
Contradiction: You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by rejecting the statistics cookies in the cookie banner or by installing the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.
As MAKU Meat Tec operates internationally (focus on Latin America), data may be transferred to partners or branches in third countries (e.g. Mexico, Colombia, Chile) as part of specific projects or support requests. This only takes place if it is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract (Art. 49 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) or if suitable guarantees (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses) exist.
The data processed by us will be deleted or restricted in their processing in accordance with Art. 17 and 18 GDPR as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations.
You have the right:
to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR;
in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete data stored by us;
to request the deletion of your data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR;
to object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.
